Metajive, 2025

We gave Alterra a site and brand refresh that finally feels like them—not just the Ikon Pass team anymore. They wanted people to see what sets their mountain experiences apart, and we were brought in to help make it real. Right away, it just made sense.

Project Scope:
UX Design
UI Design
Design Systems
Interaction Design
CMS
Responsive Development

We worked right alongside Jared and his team to move the brand away from just extreme sports and more toward something that actually felt like their purpose: connecting people to the mountains, no matter who you are. We tried to keep things simple and practical—lots of check-ins, clear process, everyone pulling in the same direction.

The collab was open and honest. The brand kept evolving as we designed, so we got everyone involved early. We leaned on solid photography, easy-to-follow layouts, and just focused on what would make someone want to actually get outside. Nothing fancy—just honest, practical storytelling and info people can use to help recruite new resorts and employees.

Since launch, the Alterra team’s loved it. The site’s now their main tool for pulling everything together and getting people excited about the mountains. And it actually feels like them, not just another big resort website.
