iPad App Design & Development

In 2010, just following Apple’s release of the second version of the iPad, we proposed an app to help support the new CT200h hybrid sport coupe from Lexus.

The Famous Group, the broadcast agency gave us free rein on the art direction and interface design. In response, we created a beautiful interface that was subtly and uniquely rebellious, matching the product’s alternative approach to the typical overtly practical hybrid.

Breaking free from the rectilinear convention so common in most iPad interfaces, we designed a slightly skewed grid. This resulted in a distinctive-yet-elegant and easy-to-use interface inspired by the essence of the CT200h brand.
