OpenStory was my first project with Envoy, working as a consultant, I was tasked with developing a product strategy for a startup client that would seperate them from the crowd of photo social players. This was followed up by brand strategy, naming and identity development.


The Openstory concept was built around capturing and documenting memories within a collaborative group of environment. Families, friends teams and organizations could document moments and memories with images, audio, text and video. These memories can spur on conversation and input from multiple perspectives in an ongoing fashion.

The name, brand strategy and identity naturally stem from this concept of writing ongoing “Open” stories. Drawing cues from nostalgia in the color pallet without pushing to far into vintage.
